Screen-printing Information

  • INK COLOR-MATCHING – No charge for PMS color match unless otherwise indicated. However, exact color match is not guaranteed and a pre-production proof is required. Metallic and fluorescent inks are not available.

  • INK COLOR CHANGE – $50.00(v) per color for beach towels and $25.00(v) for all other products.

  • STANDARD INK COLORS - Process blue, blue, navy, yellow, athletic gold, orange, red,

    scarlet, maroon, purple, teal, kelly green, hunter green, and black. White may be used

    on non-terry products.

Re-Orders

  • SCREEN-PRINTING - Films are kept on file for two years from last order. Re-orders after two years will require new screens and films, and will be billed at 50% regular price.

  • EMBROIDERY - No embroidery digitization charges for re-orders placed within 2 years. Digitization required on re-orders after 2 years will be billed at 50% of the regular price.

Shipping

  • All Simba™ Collection and Spa Towel orders shipped FOB Kentucky. All other orders shipped FOB Baltimore, MD.

  • DELAYS: Towel Specialties is not responsible for late deliveries by carrier, nor shall be held responsible for shipping delays due to acts of God, terrorism, war, or strikes.

  • SHIPPING METHOD: Standard shipment through UPS or FEDEX only. When using Towel Specialties’ shipper number, unless explicitly stated on your purchase order, UPS shipments will be sent out at residential rates. Airborne, DHL and US Postal Service are not available. For customer-arranged carrier, customer is responsible for arranging pick-up during normal business hours. Verification of pick-up must be made through the carrier, not Towel Specialties.

  • SHIPPING CHANGES: To meet your delivery date, orders are often manufactured well in advance of their ship date. Therefore, shipping changes must be made at least 72 hours in advance of your ship date.

  • TRACKING: By providing your e-mail address on the purchase order, you will receive an automated update, with tracking numbers, when your order ships. Using our six-digit order acknowledgment number, UPS or FEDEX orders shipped FOB Maryland can be tracked online at: www.towelspecialties.com/track.asp.

  • PACKAGING: Standard bulk packaging is used, unless otherwise requested. Special handling (non-standard carton quantities) is available but may require additional time and cost

  • DROP SHIPMENTS: $6.25(v) per destination must be provided on an Excel spreadsheet. If an Excel spreadsheet is not provided, an additional processing fee of $3.25(v) per destination will apply.

  • PALLETIZING AND SHRINK WRAPPING: $10.00(z) per pallet.

  • AIR SHIPMENTS: Dimensional weight applies to most products.

  • SHIPMENTS OUTSIDE CONTINENTAL U.S.: Must go through customer-designated freight forwarder.

  • POLY BAGGING: $.25(r) per unit. No charge for poly bagging robes.

Rush Charges

  • For orders requiring delivery time faster than normal delivery time, a minimum rush charge of 20% may be assessed. Rush orders must be confirmed with factory before placing order.

Changes and Cancellations

  • To stay ahead of schedule, orders are typically produced well in advance of your ship date. Therefore, no changes or cancellations regarding production or shipping may be made once a paper proof or pre-production sample (if required) is approved. All changes must be submitted in writing to Towel Specialties and are not considered firm until you receive a written acknowledgement confirming your change.

Return & Claims

  • A 15% restocking charge applies on all pre-approved returns. Merchandise returned to Towel Specialties without an RMA number (Returned Merchandise Authorization) will be refused and returned to sender. Requests for merchandise returns must be made in writing within 10 days of receipt of merchandise. Sewn products are custom made, and are non-returnable. Blank products, once altered by a third-party, decorator or customer, may not be returned. Under no circumstances should tape or stickers be placed on the terry cloth products as this may cause damage and affect your ability to receive credit.  Customer/decorator is responsible for ascertaining suitability (including, but not limited to, color, quality and style) of blank products prior to decorating. Towel Specialties will not be responsible for shortage claims when merchandise is shipped to a decorator. Box weight audits are used to determine actual package quantities at time of shipment. Any claims for delays or damage in transit must be made with carrier.

Product Warranties

  • All products are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the invoice date, and may be returned for credit or replacement. Warranty does not apply to products decorated by anyone other than Towel Specialties or used for institutional purposes. Any product warranty expressed or implied is null and void if products are commercially laundered, institutionally used or otherwise receive improper care.

  • COMMERCIAL/INSTITUTIONAL USE: All products are intended for promotional use. Institutional use of products is outside of the intended use and therefore would not be covered under normal care instructions nor product warranty.
